The exhibition design for "7th Avenue: Fashion Walk of Fame" on the work of American designers, creates a promenade with ramped surfaces for the display of costumes on either side. The ramps slope down to the level of the street or promenade, blurring the distinction between the spectator and the exhibit, referring to the influences of street fashion on American designers.
Scrims are used to layer the cavernous 22-feet-high space, creating smaller groups by designer while allowing secondary readings of the entire exhibition beyond.
